Wow Kev, those are great and more than perfect for ole' Porno Pete. If you sort down through my post about the MO of AFTAH you can see where he likes something someone else wrote about Barack Obama and the mere simple fact that Obama picks and chooses which scripture to follow but in a more liberal sense.

I wrote about this the other day too. One of my friends, Jay Johnson, is running the Center for Lesbian and Gay Studies in Religion and Ministry, which is putting on that conference.

Here are a couple more quotes that seem to be written just for LaBarbera:
Prov. 30: "Do not contend with a man for no reason, when he has done you no harm."

Or Prov. 6:16ff:

16There are six things that the LORD hates,
seven that are an abomination to him:
17haughty eyes, a lying tongue,
and hands that shed innocent blood,
18a heart that devises wicked plans,
feet that make haste to run to evil,
19a false witness who breathes out lies,
and one who sows discord among brothers.

It seems Peter, who has a lying tongue, whose heart devises wicked plans, feet who run to do evil and so on can be described as an abomination himself.

I still find it hard to believe that people pick and choose scripture when they know full well that there is someone out there who can fling it right back at them...

So what you are really saying is not to eat pork chops in drag while sitting in a seafood place? I will try and make a note about that.
