DL Foster made some comments about my investigation into his 501(c)3 ministry, Witnessfortheworld.org:

"Addendum: Generally, I dont respond to critics who have nothing substantial or biblical to say in response to this blog. But we are making this exception for the exceptionally uninformed “Kevin” who claims we are enslaved to the government via tax exempt status. He desparately needs education and out of sympathy we feel an obligation to help him.

We offer the following to Kevin in hopes that he will take more time to educate himself before making false, reactionary comments.

If you want to verify a ministry’s tax exempt status, simply go to the IRS official website and type away. Guidestar is not an accurate source of information on churches and ministries."

My very long response can be found here:

In short, if DL Foster claims he is not running a tax-free exempt 501(c)3 organization, why does his website link up with Guidestar's list of non-profits? If DL Foster thinks "Guidestar is not an accurate source of information on churches and ministries" then he needs to immediately stop using GuideStar to help him get donations.

I will certainly be writing a letter to the IRS about his website claim that it is a 501(c)3 non-profit while at the same time he is implying that he is not running a non-profit. The IRS should be able to figure it all out, without me doing more work.

If he isn't running a tax-exempt organization, then he better stop claiming that he is in the 'donation' section of his www.witnessfortheworld.org ministry website.
